MAINTENANCE & TROUBLESHOOTING
Always disconnect units from the power source before
beginning any maintenance or work on the unit.
To maximize the performance of the UV clarifier, periodically
disassemble the filter to clean dirt and debris from the exterior
of the glass tube and inside light housing. Check the UV bulb
to make sure that it has nor burned out. Replace the bulb as
necessary, or after every season.
NOTE: Do not throw old bulb in normal trash receptacle. LAMP CONTAINS
MERCURY. Manage in accordance with disposal laws.

Step 1. Disconnect the UV
Clarifier from the outlet.
Allow a sufficient time to pass
for the light to cool before
disassembling the light.
Step 2. Rotate the locking ring
counterclockwise to remove
the lamp holder.
Step 3. To replace the bulb,
remove the bulb holder.
Carefully remove the old bulb
by pulling firmly on the base.
Carefully install the new bulb
and put the bulb holder back
in place.
Step 4. Reinstall the lamp
holder and locking ring.
NOTE: This UV clarifier
includes a safety feature that
will not allow the light to
turn on if the lamp holder or
locking ring are not securely
fastened.
Step 5. Reconnect the UV Clarifier to
the power source.
Wait several seconds from the light to turn
on. Check the indicator light to varifiy if
the light is functioning correctly.

TROUBLESHOOTING
IF THE UV LIGHT FAILS TO OPERATE:
• Check to make sure the power cord is plugged in and the light
is getting power.
• Check to make sure that the lamp holder is screwed completely
into the body. (This product will not operate unless it is fully
assembled with the lamp holder screwed completely into the
body.)
• Check the bulb to make sure it hasn't burned out. Replace bulb
when needed or after each season. Use Replacement bulb
#52302.

WARRANTY
1 Year Warranty
LIMITED WARRANTY
All pumps and electrical products are warrantied to the user
against defective material and workmanship, under normal
working conditions. This warranty period begins on the date of
purchase by the original purchaser.
APPLICATION
Warranty covers only properly installed and maintained
units. Any damage or modification to the cord or to the unit
will terminate the warranty. Pump warranty is limited to
applications pumping fresh water in a pond or fountain only.
Other liquid applications or extreme temperature uses must be
approved in writing by the manufacturer. Receipt and product
date code are required for warranty claims.
WARRANTY CLAIM
Warranty claims must be made by calling Customer Care (at
1-888-412-6001). If the item is determined to be defective,
you will be given authorization to return the defective part(s),
freight pre-paid, along with proof of purchase.
DISPOSITION
The manufacturer will make a good faith effort for prompt
disposition regarding all warranty claims. Returned product will
