Ensure all pneumatic tools are correctly connected to
the Air Compressor before using them.
Do not unplug pneumatic tools while the compressor is
running, shutdown before any maintenance is carried

The air pressure regulator is calibrated at the factory with
a starting pressure to 80 – 90 PSI and a cutout pressure
of 110-120 PSI.

To increase the cutout pressure (idle mode) of the Air
Compressor, loosen the nut marked B in the diagram
below screw back on the air pressure regulator and turn
the screw clockwise; turn the screw counterclockwise to

decrease the cut pressure.

STARTING THE COMPRESSOR
On the gasoline engine open the fuel valve by pressing

it downwards until it stops. If the engine is cold, move

the choke lever to the left. If not continue with the next
step.
Pull the recoil start mechanism until engine starts. If

engine does not start try again several times.
Immediately after the engine starts, return the choke

lever to the right. Wait for 5 min aprox. before you start

After you have finished using the Air Compressor:

Stop the engine by turning the on/off switch to the off

any maintenance is carried out, shutdown the Air
Compressor and drain air out of the tanks.
Never operate your compressor without the safety belt

Before starting the compressor, ensure the oil level is

set at the optimum level. Refill if necessary.

Replace the oil every 50 hours of operation or every

Purge the tank(s) after every use. Oxidation is caused

by the condensation when the air is compressed inside
the tank(s). This oxidation cause weakness of the air
tank(s) walls. To purge the tank(s), open the purge plug
until all the humidity gets out from the tank(s)
Check and clean the filters every week or after each
6
use. Blow compressed air in the filters in order to clean
both sides of the filter elements.
Replace the filters of the pump head when damaged
7
or obstructed.
Avoid running your compressor without the air filters.
8
Check the tubing and fittings for leaks every 3 or 4
9
months. Check the tension of the belt and that the
fasteners are tight. Tight the fasteners as necessary.
Increase pressure

Verify that the pulley and the pump head flywheel are
correctly aligned. Maximum misalignment is 5 mm.
If your compressor abnormally runs frequently it is
11
possible that the continuous working device is not
correctly calibrated. When you calibrate the continuous
working device never calibrate it to a cut pressure
greater than 125 PSI.
Store your compressor in a fresh and dry place. Pull the
wire ring of the safety valve to release all the pressure
in the air tank. Unplug all the hoses and hang them up
in order to drain all humidity from them. Clean the filters.
Drain the oil of the pump head and replace it with new
oil. Cover completely the unit to protect it from humidity
and dust.
Refer to the end of this manual if you are getting
trouble with your compressor operation, you
will find a troubleshooting table. If you do not
have the proper tools or you are not properly
trained to repair the unit by yourself contact
a sales agent or an authorized service center.
