3. Attach the adhesive strips to the back of the mounting base in the recesses so that the end of the adhesive strip is above
the recess.
4. Remove the protective foil from the other side of the adhesive strip.
5. Align the device horizontally at the desired position and press it on the surface.

Coupling devices - Pairing
In order to use the device to control a heating zone, it must first be paired with the Alpha Smartware Base Station. Informa-
tion on this procedure can be found in Quick Install Guide and Installation Instructions for the Alpha Smartware Base Sta-
tion.
In cloud-based operation, a factory reset has no effect on the logout of the room control units in the Alpha Smart
App. The devices must be deleted manually in the Alpha Smart App.
Alpha Smart App
In order to use the device within an Alpha Smart Cloud, it is necessary to use the Alpha Smart App
(download via QR code).
7 Operation
Using the push/rotary control on the front of the device (), different menu levels are available on the device which can be
called up via the display. The Alpha Smart App offers further operating functions.
Pairing the room control unit with the base station/teaching to the heating zone
Teaching out the room control unit from the base station,
resetting an existing pairing
Display firmware version of the devices:
– SoF1: Firmware version of room control unit
– SoF2: Firmware version of base station
Reset the pairing and all data of the room
control unit
