MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
How to extract the oil container
Attention:
Whenever you handle the fryer, make sure it is disconnected from the mains
socket and that the oil is completely cold.
To remove the oil container, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the lid and remove the basket 4.
2. Carefully take the temperature and resistance selector set 10 and pull it up
until it is completely free of the guides. This set consists of several pieces,
some of them electric, so never immerse in water or wash this piece. The
only part that can be cleaned with a cloth or kitchen paper is resistance.
Be sure not to damage the resistance.
3. Take the tank and remove it completely from the support of the tank 6.
4. Once the tank has been cleaned or emptied, proceed to place all the pieces
in the reverse order described.
Oil filtration and storage
The oil should be filtered regularly. The remains that come off the food tend to
burn and alter the quality and taste of the oil more quickly.
Once the oil is cold, pour it into a container by passing it through a colander.
Clean the inside of the tub.
Leave the oil in the tank of the fryer or if you prefer to store it for later use,
pour it into an airtight container (this last process is recommended if you do
not use the fryer very often). It is not necessary to store the oil in the
refrigerator, simply store it in a place away from sources of light and heat.
Change of oil
Do not pour used oil into the sink, sink, etc. This oil is harmful to the
environment. Also, do not throw it into organic garbage, follow the recycling
rules established by the waste collection services in your area. The duration of
the oil depends on the type and quality of it. Remember that "clean" oil
maintains the taste and purity of the food.
Cleaning
Clean the fryer both inside and outside regularly.
Wipe the outside of the fryer with a damp cloth and dry with a clean, dry
cloth. Never use sponges or abrasive detergents.
The basket and handle can be washed in hot, soapy water. Dry them well
before using them again.
