Gas Surface Burner

DO NOT clean this appliance with bleach.
To prevent burns, wait until the cooktop has cooled down before touching any of its parts.
Removing and Replacing the Gas Surface Burner
Grates and burner caps/heads can be removed for care and cleaning.

Burner Heads/Caps
For even and unhampered flame, the slits in the burner heads
must be kept clean at all times.The burner heads and (the oval
burner head) & Cap assembly can be lifted off.
Wash the burner caps in hot soapy water and rinse with
clean water.
Any spills on or around an electrode must be carefully
cleaned.
To remove burnt-on food, soak the burner heads in a
solution of mild liquid detergent and hot water for 20–30
minutes. For stubborn stains, use a toothbrush.
The burners will not operate properly if the burner ports
or electrodes are clogged or dirty.
Burner caps and heads should be cleaned routinely,
especially after bad spillovers.
Burners will not light if the cap is removed.

After Cleaning the Burner Heads/Caps
Shake out any excess water and then let them dry thoroughly.
Replace the burner heads and caps over the electrodes on
the cooktop, in the correct locations according to their size.
Make sure the hole in the burner head is positioned over the
electrode.
DO NOT hit the electrodes with anything hard. Doing so
could damage them.
DO NOT use steel wool or scouring powders to clean
the burners.
