Product usage
•
Store oil/fat used to fry fish separately from oil/fat used to fry other foods.
•
Do not season foods before or during frying. Doing so, will make the oil no longer usable.
Disposal
•
Pour the oil into an airtight container and dispose of it in an appropriate manner.
•
Pour the still slightly warm fat into a newspaper-lined saucepan and wait for it to solidify.
Completely wrap the fat in the newspaper and dispose of it in an appropriate manner.
•
Do not pour oil or fat down the sink; dispose of it according to your local waste regulations.
Contact your local council to find your nearest recycling centres.
WARNING
Used or expired oil/fat can catch fire when overheated. In
the event of a fire, immediately unplug the power plug,
then close the lid. Never pour water onto oil/fat that is
hot or has caught fire.
Removing the unit's lid
Press the lid release button to open the lid.
Pull the lid upwards, away from the unit.
After use
•
Turn off the unit by moving the thermostat knob to the minimum setting.
•
Unplug the plug from the mains socket.
•
Return the basket to the fryer.
•
Close the lid.
•
Allow the unit to cool completely before putting it away.
