Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING!
• Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool down
completely before cleaning it.
• Never immerse the unit, power cable or plug in water
or any other liquid. Never rinse them under the tap.
• Never place the unit in a dishwasher.
• Clean the unit after each use.
• Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning products,
wire brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads to clean the unit.
Only use mild washing-up liquid.
• The fixed cooking plates cannot be removed. Wipe the cooking
plates with a sponge or soft cloth lightly dampened with warm
soapy water. To remove stubborn food residue, place a small
amount of soapy water or damp kitchen roll on the affected
area for a few minutes to soften the residue. Wipe the cooking
plates with a soft, damp cloth.
• Only ever wipe the meat grill's external surfaces with a damp
cloth.
• Dry the unit with a soft, dry cloth after cleaning it.
Storage
• Always check the unit is unplugged and has cooled completely
before putting it away.
• Close the storage lock so that the lid remains in the closed
position and wrap the cable around the unit. Do not store the
unit vertically.
• Store the unit in a clean, cool and dry place. Avoid exposure to
direct sunlight.
• Store the unit out of the reach of babies, children and pets.
• Keep the original packaging to store the unit when you are not
going to use it for a long period of time.
