Safety
− Do not let children play with the packaging fi lm. They may
become caught in it while playing or pull it over their head
and suffocate.
WARNING!
Hot surface! Parts of this appliance become very hot
during operation. Improper handling may lead to seri-
ous injuries.
− Parts of the appliance become hot during use. Do not touch
these in order to avoid burns.
− To prevent injuries, hair, jewelry and clothing must not
come into contact with the appliance when it is in opera-
tion.
− Do not use the appliance if one of the parts is defective.
− Also inform other users of the dangers!
− During the frying process, hot steam escapes, particularly
if the lid is opened. Ensure that you use kitchen gloves and
do not bend over the appliance.
− Ensure that all parts are completely dry before putting oil
or liquid fat into the deep fryer. Water residues vaporise ex-
plosively and the hot oil/fat is sprayed.
− Prior to frying the food, dry it off thoroughly, in order to
avoid hot fat/oil spraying out.
− Remove the frost and all ice pieces from frozen foods. The
more ice is still on the foods, the more the hot oil/fat will
spray.
