b) Use appliance only with specifically designated
battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may
create a risk of injury and fire.
c) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from
other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys,
nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can
make a connection from one terminal to another.
Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns
or a fire.
d) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected
from the battery; avoid contact. If contact
accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid
contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid
ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
e) Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is
damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries
may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire,
explosion or risk of injury.
f) Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or
excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature
above 130°C may cause explosion.
g) Follow all charging Instructions and do not
charge the battery pack or appliance outside the
temperature range specified in the instructions.
Charging improperly or at temperatures outside the
specified range may damage the battery and increase
the risk of fire.
h) Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or
the battery pack (as applicable) except as indicated
in the instructions for use and care.
5) SERVICE
a) Have your appliance serviced by a qualified repair
person using only identical replacement parts. This
will ensure that the safety of the appliance is maintained.
b) Never service damaged battery packs. Service
of battery packs should only be performed by the
manufacturer or authorized service providers.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
Do not allow the fan to be used as a toy. Close
attention is necessary when used by or near

Do not place fans or their batteries near fire or heat.

Do not incinerate the fan even if it is severely
damaged. The batteries can explode in a fire.

use this fan with any solid-state speed control
device.

For general ventilating use only. Do not use to exhaust
hazardous or explosive materials and vapors.
To reduce the risk of personal injury and electric
shock, the fan should not be played with or placed
where small children can reach it.
Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently
and use them to instruct others who may use this fan.
If you loan this fan to someone else, also loan these
instructions to them to prevent misuse of the product and
possible injury.
BATTERIES
The battery supplied is partially charged (to ensure full
capacity of the battery, completely charge the battery in
the battery charger before using your electrical appliance
for the first time)
Only use the following batteries and chargers with this
product
- SKIL battery: BR1*21****, BR1*31****
- SKIL charger: CR1*21****,CR1*31****
Do not use the battery when damaged; it should be
replaced
Do not disassemble the battery
Do not expose product/battery to rain
Permitted ambient temperature (product/charger/battery):
- when charging 4...40°C
- during operation –20...+50°C
- during storage –20...+50°C

! when the lowest level of the battery indicator
starts flashing after pressing button F 8b, the
battery is empty
! when 2 levels of the battery indicator start flashing
after pressing button F 8c, the battery is not
within the allowable operating temperature range
(only applicable to 20V battery pack)
Battery protection
The product is suddenly being switched off or prevented
from being switched on, when the battery is nearly empty
(to protect against deep discharge) --> a low battery level
or flashing low battery level F8b is shown by the battery
level indicator when pressing button F; charge battery
! do not continue to press the on/off switch after the
