11.3. How to use the machine
First of all, carry out all the steps detailed in section 10.2 of this manual and then:
1. Place or check that the blade rotation selector on the control panel is on the LEFT.
2. Press the green ON button to turn on the equipment.
3. Select a rotation speed with the potentiometer, adjustable at all times.
4. Feed the upper hopper with dried flowers and manually guide them to the opening so that they can enter the
main body where they can be processed.
To achieve optimal and efficient processing, Master Products recommends filling the main body of the machine
with product without exceeding the inspection window. As the grinding process progresses, it is necessary to add
more product into the main body until reaching, without exceeding, the recommended level.
The processed product accumulates inside the lower collection tank, also with an inspection window enabled. It is
necessary to verify that this window is not exceeded and when this happens, it is necessary:
1. Stop the machine by pressing the red OFF switch on the control panel.
2. Operate the side lever to release the collection tank.
3. Remove the collection tank from the machine and empty it.
4. Put the collection tank back in the equipment, guaranteeing its tightness.
5. Press the green ON button to turn the equipment back on.
Depending on the % moisture present in the product to be processed, its nature or the variety to which it belongs,
the main body and blades of the grinder are susceptible to retaining a greater or lesser amount of plant remains
and dirt. When the amount accumulated in the blades of the grinder is considerable, it can get stuck. The Master
Mill 500 has a selector that allows you to change the direction of rotation of the mill blades to unclog it if necessary.
Under normal operating conditions, this selector must be in the LEFT position (counterclockwise rotation of the
blades).
Master Products recommends changing the direction of rotation of the blades for a few seconds every 30 minutes
of operation of the equipment, even if no signs of jamming are observed, to prevent it from occurring.
Before working with the equipment for the first time, it is necessary to know the functions of the control panel ele-
ments that are detailed in the following section.
11.4. Control Panel
The elements present in the control panel are:
• Stop of emergency - Emergency stop
• Reset button - Reset
• Push button for start/stop - On/Off
• Blade rotation speed - Speed regulator
• Direction of rotation of the blades -
Turn left right
Under normal operating conditions, the selector for choosing the direction of rotation of the mill blades must be in
the LEFT position (counterclockwise rotation of the blades).
