Chisel installation
1. Unscrew the retaining spring of the
hammer tip. Keep the tool lubricated to make
the operation easier.
2. Insert the chisel's shank into the hole in the
hammer's tip.
WARNING
The chisel must have a
stop to secure it. DO NOT use chisels without
a stop as they will be ejected by the hammer.
3. Screw the clamping spring back onto the
hammer tip by passing the chisel through the
tip.
4. Tighten the spring firmly to secure the
chisel in place, otherwise the hammer will not
function properly and the chisel could be
thrown off.
