oPerAtion - keep-warm function
Whenever you press the on/off button for three seconds consecutively, the keep-warm function will be
activated. The LED-display will blink for a moment and will keep, for as long as the device remains turned
on, the water at the set temperature.
•
The keep-warm function can only be used if the water kettle is filled with at least 0,6 liters of water.
A lesser amount can cause the boil-dry protection to be activated.
•
The keep-warm function can be shut off at any moment by pressing the on/off button.
•
Whenever you take the kettle from the bease the keep-warm function will be shut down.
oPerAtion - Making tea
There are many kinds of tea leaves. Each kind has its own taste that'll be best attained at the optimal water
temperature and sleep time. The recommended and sleep time per kind can be found in the following table.
If you choose to use tea leaves to brew tea, do not throw these away after your first pot of tea. High
quality tea leaves can be used several times (als known as 'infusions'). In China it is even customary to
only present the seond or third brew to guests, as it is believed to be the best.

Warm the teapot before brewing tea in it. This prevents the water from cooling down while you brew
tea. You may do so by holding your teapot under a hot water tap for a short amount of time. You
can also fil the teapot with hot water for a few minutes and pour it out when you wish to brew tea.

When you brew tea at a lower temperature it will contain less caffeine.
oPerAtion - Various hot drinks
Besides tea there are several other warm drinks for which you can set an optimal temperature. Some
suggestions can be found in the follwong table.

temperature is right before consumption.
