Test Field
There is no ASME standard for davit cranes. OZ Lifting Products davit cranes have a minimum 3:1 design
factor. We individually load test and certify every davit crane to 125% of the rated capacity. A test certificate
is generated that includes the serial number and a photo of the davit under load.
If a load test is required on site, we recommend contacting a civil engineer to determine if the base has
been properly mounted to a secure location. We provide the information on the moment a base would pull
away from the mounting bolts.
