6. Make Electrical Connections
DANGER: Risk of electrical shock. Connect the bath with airjets to a properly grounded
Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI) or Residual Current Device (RCD). This will provide
additional protection against line-to-ground shock hazard. A 120 V, 15 A dedicated circuit is
required.
DANGER: Risk of electrical shock. Make sure the power has been disconnected before performing
the following procedures.
WARNING: Risk of electrical shock. A licensed electrician must route all electrical wiring and
connections for this product. Improper installation will create an electrical hazard and may not
comply with local building and electrical codes.
A 120 V, 15 A dedicated circuit is required. Provide a Class A Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter
(GFCI) and route service to the blower motor.
Provide a separate equipment grounding conductor for the ground lug. The conductor must not be
connected to any current-carrying conductor.
A junction box is supplied at the blower motor air outlet. This is the shipping position. Cut the
cable tie and remove the cover.
Mount the junction box 1-1/2" (3.8 cm) above floor level within 24" (61 cm) of the blower motor.
If required, route the blower motor pigtail lead to the junction box.
Connect electrical service to the junction box according to the wiring detail. Provide adequate strain
relief.
Bond to either ground lug on the junction box in accordance with national and local codes.
Install the junction box cover.
Clean the area of all dust and debris.
