Prepare the coating material
The materials for painting generally need to be diluted when used with the gun. These information about dilutions
can eventually be found in the material packaging, if not informed, with the aid of the viscosity test funnel you
can prepare the material for painting (viscosity = consistence of the coating material).
Viscosity Measurement
1. Stir the coating material carefully before measurement.
2. Dip the viscosity test funnel completely into the coating material.
3. Hold the test funnel upward and measure the time in seconds until the funnel is empty.
Table 3 shows the time it takes for each material to fl ow off the funnel.
Finishing materials that can be applied:
- Solvent-based and water based paints, acrylic sealers, wood sealer, bi-components, paints, automotive paints
and varnishes.
Finishing materials that cannot be applied:
- Alkaline solutions and acid fi nishing materials or viscous emulsions. Coating materials with a fl ash point lower
than 21°C.
Preparation of the fi nishing material:
- With the provided spray accessories, it is possible to spray paints, varnishes and other materials, without dilu-
ting or only slightly diluted. Get detailed information in the instruction fl yer of the paint manufacturer. Shake the
material and insert the required amount in the paint reservoir.
Protection products for wood oil, disinfecting agents, protection products
for plants
Paints with solvents or water-dilutive, primers, fi nishing paint foor vehicles,
transparent paints of thich fi lm.
If the result is insuffi cient, dilute 5 - 10% gradually until the result matches your requirements.
1. MOUNTING AND PREPARATION
• Unscrew the spray paint container;
• Align the delivery pipe (see Figure 9.2). With the delivery pipe in the correct position, the content of the
reservoir may be completely sprayed;
• Works on objects placed horizontally: Adjust the delivery pipe forward (see Figure 9.2A);
• Works on objects placed vertically: Adjust the delivery pipe backward (see Figure 9.2B);
