• Do not use the appliance to dry foods or clothing.
These can catch on fire.
• Do not use the appliance to heat hot pillows, slippers,
sponges, damp cleaning cloths and such. This can
cause fire and injuries.
• Do not use the appliance to heat pillows that are filled
with grain, cherry pits or gel.
• Only use cookware that is suitable for use in micro-
wave cooking appliances, ►„Selecting cookware" on

page 23. Do not use metal containers or cookware
with metal edges/decorations.
• Pull the power cable if the appliance starts to smoke.
Dangers due to microwaves
With microwave rays, there is a danger of burns.
• Do not remove the cover (silver plate on the right
inside wall) in front of the microwave outlet opening in
the cooking chamber.
• Do not operate the microwave with an open door.

Poor hygiene
Poor cleaning of the cooking appliance can cause the
destruction of the surface, which in turn influences the
usage duration and can cause dangerous situations.
Bacteria can form in the appliance due to poor hygiene.
• Clean the appliance regularly.
• Wipe the cooking chamber, door and door seals with
damp cloth. If necessary, use a non-caustic, non-abra-
sive cleaning agent.
• Remove food remains after each use.
• Do not store any food in the cooking chamber.
The use of improper cleaning agents harbours health risks:
• Only use the cleaning agents and utensils described
in these operating instructions to clean the appliance.
