Registering the handset

Before you can use your handset, it must be
registered to the base station. You must ini-
tiate handset registration on the handset
and on the base station.
Note: If the handset has been delivered
with a base station it is registered

REGISTRATION
(enter current PIN, default: 0000)
The handset is assigned the lowest unas-
signed internal number (1–4).
Once the handset has been registered suc-
cessfully, it returns to idle mode. The name
(default: Gigaset) and the handset's internal
number is shown in the display, e.g.

If the handset was not registered success-
fully, the display will show
this case repeat the procedure.

Making internal calls

Internal calls are free calls to other handsets
that are registered to the same base station
or to the base station itself.
