Fully unwind the mains cord.

Place the appliance on a stable, level surface and make sure there
is at least 15 cm free space around it to prevent overheating
(fig. 5).
The appliance can be used in many different ways. Below you find some
examples.
Place the appliance on a table, tilt the lamp housing backwards
and sit down on a chair or stool with your back towards the
lamp to treat a sore shoulder or a sore neck or part of your
upper back area (fig. 6).
Place the appliance on a table beside a chair and sit down on a
chair or stool with your back towards the lamp to treat a lower-
back ache (fig. 7).
Place the appliance on a table and sit down beside it to treat a
sore elbow (fig. 8).
Place the appliance on the floor, tilt the lamp housing backwards
and sit down on a chair or stool to treat a sore calf (fig. 9).
To treat a common cold, place the appliance on a table and sit
down on a chair in front of the appliance.Tilt the lamp housing
backwards so that the beam of light is directed towards your face
(fig. 10).

Adjust the direction of the light beam by tilting the lamp housing
forwards or backwards (fig. 11).
