• You are currently logged onto the domain through your PC with Windows
XP, Vista or Windows 7 installed. Instead of logging onto the domain, log
onto the local machine.
• The firewall settings for components on the network are currently in
operation. Check the firewall settings for components on the network.
• You are currently disconnected from the Internet. Check the connection
settings for components on the network, and consult with your network
service provider if necessary.
• There are cases where you cannot listen to some Internet radio stations
even when they are listed in the list of Internet radio stations on this unit.
• The folders/files are currently stored in a region other than the FAT (File
Allocation Table) region. Store the folders/files in the FAT region.
• Limit the maximum number of levels in a folder to 8.
• Limit the maximum number of folders/files stored in a single folder to
2000.
• Copyrighted audio files stored on a USB memory device cannot be played
back.
• The USB memory device does not support the mass storage class
specifications. Try using a USB memory device compatible with the mass
storage class specifications. Note that there are cases where even the
audio files stored on a USB memory device compatible with the mass
storage class specifications are not played back on this unit.
• This unit does not support a USB hub.
• This unit recognizes the USB memory device as a fraud. Switch off and
on again this unit.
• Check whether the format of your USB memory device is either FAT 16 or
FAT 32. Note that the FAT 12, NTFS, and HFS formats cannot be played
back on this unit.
• The files may be subjected to DRM copy protection. WMA and MPEG-4
AAC files subjected to DRM copy protection cannot be played back. When
using a computer to load music data from a CD or other device, digital
rights management copy protection may be applied, depending on the
settings involved.
• See the list of file formats that can be played back on this unit.
• When playing network audio, the network server used may not support
display of name information for artists and albums. Or, when playing
music from a USB memory device, the version of ID3 tags is not
supported. Playing network audio relies on the support of the server used.
For details, consult the operating manual for the server. Also, when
playing music from USB memory devices, only ID3 tag version 2.x or
WMA metatags are supported.
