How to start the pen
Connect the power
supply to the mains.
Select the material (PLA
or ABS) by pressing the +
and - buttons.
Adjust to the desired
temperature using the +
and - buttons (see Tips).
Connect the cord from
the power supply to the
pen. LED 1 will light up.
Confirm by clicking the
forward button. LED 2
will light up red.
Lastly, insert your
chosen filament, which
must be cut straight (see
image below).
How to use the pen
Double click (not too
quickly) the forward
button.
Some residue from the
previous colour of
filament will come out
(testing has shown).
Your pen is ready!
Keep the nozzle between
0.2 and 0.4 mm away
from the surface so that
the filament adheres to
the medium.

Gently insert the
filament. Do not force it.
When drawing, hold the
pen at an angle of
approx. 65°.
To remove or change
the filament, the 3D pen
must be at operating
temperature: click the
reverse button but do
not pull on the filament.
