Multi-Media Dies for Multiple Layers of Fabric
Multi-Media Dies are manufactured deeper than traditional thin metal dies, which
allows you to cut a variety of different materials for your multi-media projects. Because they're a
little deeper you will need to alter the plate configuration to accommodate different materials.
Recommended Combination for Cutting Multiple Layers of Fabric:
White Cutting Plate on the bottom, then the Metal Shim, Fabric to be Cut (up to four to eight
layers, depending on thickness), Multi-Media Die (blade side facing down towards fabric), then the
Plastic Shim, and White Cutting Plate on top.
