SAFETY INFORMATIONS
Do not use compressed air tools to actuate the spindle / spindle nut.
Always wear safety goggles when working with this tool.
Lubricate the spindle and spindle nut before and after use.
After the repair has been completed or before driving, retighten all previously loosened screw
connections to the required torque.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. Packaging should be
sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with
the environment. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
REMOVING
1. Thoroughly apply penetrating oil to each bush to aid extraction from the bush housing.
2. To extract the old bush, assemble the tool onto the bush as shown in figure.
3. Ensure that the screw rod (1) is well lubricated prior to assembly.
4. Hold the retention nut (2) with a 24mm ring spanner.
5. Using a ratchet wrench with a 24mm deep socket turn the nut on the force nut assembly (6)
clockwise to drive the bush (B) out of its housing (A).
INSTALLATION
1. To insert the new bush, assemble the tool and bush onto the bush housing as shown in figure.
2. Ensure that the screw rod (1) is well lubricated prior to assembly.
3. Hold the retention nut (2) with a 24mm ring spanner.
4. Using a ratchet wrench with a 24mm deep socket turn the nut on the force nut assembly (6)
clockwise to drive the bush (B) into the housing (A).
