HYGROTHERMAL COMFORT IN THE
INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL
SECTORS
In line with recent regulatory developments regarding energy
efficiency, Galletti is updating its offering of fan heaters for heat-
ing and cooling systems to be used in industrial and commercial
environments of any volume.
The new AREO, which was designed to meet the stringent re-
quirements of the ERP Directive, retains unchanged the distinc-
tive aspects of the original design, that is, extreme reliability and
sturdiness.
AREO's cover, which is made of pre-painted steel sheet, possess-
es an original design with a rounded shape that enhances its
aesthetic form.
The AREO range consists of 18 models that, limited to the on-
ly heating version, can be either wall mounted (horizontal air
flow) or ceiling mounted (vertical air flow). The cooling version
is equipped with a new system in order to collect condensation
and further insulation inside the cover.
The units are available in 6 sizes with 2-, 3- or 4-row heat ex-
changers ensuring an efficient performance with hot water sup-
plied by a boiler or heat pump (4-row models).
MAIN COMPONENTS
Structure
Made of pre-painted steel sheet, complete with ABS corners. In-
ternally insulated to prevent the formation of condensation on
the cabinet during operation with chilled water (AREO C).
The cabinet is complete with adjustable pre-painted sheet steel
louvers (spring operated) placed on the air outlet which enable
an optimal distribution of air within the room.
On the rear of the cabinet there are 4 for suspending the fan
heater from the ceiling or joining it to the mounting board for
installation on the wall (accessory DFC, DFP or DFO).
Heat exchanger
high conductivity heat exchanger made with copper piping and
aluminium fins assuring higher heat exchange than standard
iron piping exchangers.
AREO C:The coil is placed to the rear compared with the air out-
let; on the front there is an auxiliary drip tray that guarantees
total collection of condensate.

Fans
with statically balanced sickle blades housed in a specially de-
signed compartment that enhances ventilation and reduces
noise emissions.
Electric motor
two-speed, 4/6-pole or 6/8-pole, in 400V three-phase delta-tri-
angle configuration. All single-phase models are supplied with
a single speed motor.
AREO C: single-phase and single-speed 230V-50Hz induction
type with external rotor.
All motors are fitted with an internal safety thermal cut-out (klix-
on), class F windings, protection rating IP 54.
Accident grill
made of electrogalvanised steel wire, it supports the motor and
is fixed to the cabinet by means of vibration-damping supports.
