4. Maintenance
1. Disconnect the coffee maker and leave to cool down before cleaning.
2. Open the lid and remove the filter holder in order to empty out the grounds from the
permanent filter.
3. You can wipe the outer and inner surfaces with a slightly damp sponge or soft cloth.
4. Clean the removable parts with hot soapy water, then rinse with clear water and dry
thoroughly.
5. Take care to handle the permanent filter gently while also rinsing it with clear water.
6. Do not clean with alcohol or detergents. Never immerse the appliance in water or any
other liquid.
5. Descaling
1. In order to keep your device in good condition, it is necessary to descale it every 3 months or
according to the hardness of the water and the frequency of use.
2. To clean the appliance, put 1 part of vinegar and 3 parts of water in the reservoir without
adding any ground coffee and switch the coffee maker on.
3. Repeat until the coffee maker is clean.
4. Then, run the coffee maker 2 to 3 times without coffee in order to rinse it thoroughly.
