SAFETY ADVICE
Check the tightness of the red hose, after installation. After tightening the fixing screw, the red hose
must be firmly seated in the device connection. The hose cannot be pulled out of the connection.
FILLING DEVICE
1. Ensure that there is no compressed air in the brake bleeder. To release the compressed air, open
the air inlet valve (3) and the shut-off valve (5).
2. Once there is no more compressed air in the brake bleeder, remove the sealing cap (6).
Note: If the rubber membrane is located directly under the filler cap, it must be pushed down with
the help of the venting adapter (11) and compressed air. To do this, place the venting adapter
(11) on the filling opening and blow air into the brake bleeder with a compressed air gun, which
will push down the membrane.
3. Fill the system with brake fluid and close the filling opening with the cap (6).
Note: Do not fill the device up to the top of the filling neck.
BLEEDING DEVICE
Attention: Bleeding the device after each filling with brake fluid as follows:
1. Close shut-off valve (5), filling valve (9), and air inlet valve (3).
2. Ensure that the sealing cap (6) is securely fastened.
3. Connect the brake bleeder to the compressed air system at the air nipple (1).
4. Open the air inlet valve (3) and the shut-off valve (5), and adjust the pressure to 1.2 bar with the
pressure regulator (2). If the safety valve (4) opens, the pressure is set too high.
5. Connect the adapter (12) to the quick coupling (10).
6. Hold the adapter over a container and briefly open the filling valve (9) until the brake fluid flows
out of the adapter without air bubbles. The device can now be used.
SAFETY ADVICE
Always wear safety glasses and gloves when working with the brake fluid.
Should brake fluid get into eyes or wounds flush immediately with water and consult a doctor.
BRAKE SYSTEM FILLING / BLEEDING
1. Close shut-off valve (5), filling valve (9), and air inlet valve (3).
2. Ensure that the sealing cap (6) is securely fastened.
3. Connect the brake bleeder to the compressed air system at the air nipple (1).
4. Open the air inlet valve (3) and the shut-off valve (5), and adjust the pressure to 1.2 bar with the
pressure regulator (8). The set pressure can be read on the pressure gauge (8). If the safety
valve (4) opens, the pressure is set too high.
5. Close the air inlet valve (3).
6. The brake bleeder can now be disconnected from the compressed air system.
7. Screw the adapter (12) onto the brake fluid reservoir.
8. Connect the quick coupling (10) to the adapter (12).
9. Open the filling valve (9) and bleed the brake system according to the manufacturer's
instructions.
10. Note: Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's instructions when bleeding the brakes.
11. Close the filling valve (9) after the brake bleeding process.
12. Remove the filling hose (7) from the adapter (12) and remove the adapter.
13. Check the brake fluid level and correct if necessary.
SAFETY ADVICE
Make sure the unit is pressure-free after each brake bleeding process.
