4) CHANNEL SELECTOR: s and t keys on front panel and
«UP» and «DN» on the microphone ~ SCAN
CHANNEL SELECTOR
(short press)
These keys allow to change the channel (up/down). A beep sounds
each time you change the channel if the KEY BEEP function is activated
(see § KEY BEEP page 32)
SCAN
(very long press)
Channel Scan
Press and hold down one of the s/t key on the front panel or UP
or DN on the microphone (4) for ± 5 seconds, or until a beep sounds
(see § KEY BEEP page 32), to activate the SCAN function. «SCAN» is
displayed. The scanning stops as soon as there is a busy channel. The
scanning starts automatically 3 seconds after the transmission stops
and no key is pressed during 3 seconds. The scanning restarts also
in upward direction with the s key on the front panel or UP on the
microphone, or in a downward direction with the t key of the font
panel or DN on the microphone.
Memory Scan
a) Short press MEM (5) during the channel scanning. «MEM» is displayed.
The transceiver scans the memories (M1, M2, M3) and channel 9 and
19.
b) Short press MEM (5) again during memory scanning to go back to
channel scan. "SCAN" is displayed, "MEM" disappears.
Press PTT (11) switch or EMG (6) key to exit the SCAN function. "SCAN"
disappears on the display.

MEM
3 channels can be memorized with following parameters: AM (except
for EC configuration) or FM; LOCAL; NB/ANL; HICUT (and CEPT/ENG in
the U configuration)
To memorize:

Long press on MEM (5), «MEM» blinks.
Press during 1 s on M1 (8), M2 (7) or M3 (6). «MEM» is displayed contin-
-
uously. The channel has been memorized.
To recall a memory:
-
Long press on MEM (5), «MEM» blinks.
Short press on M1 (8), M2 (7) or M3 (6).

-
«MEM» is displayed continuously. The memorized channel is active.
To delete a memory:
-
Turn off the transceiver.
Keep key M1, M2 or M3 pressed and switch on the transceiver.

The selected memory is deleted.
6) EMG ~ DW ~ M3
EMG
(short press)
Channel 9 and 19 are automatically selected by pressing this key. A
first press activates channel 9. A second press activates channel 19.
«EMG» appears on the display when a priority channel is active. A new
press returns to the previous channel and «EMG» disappears.
DW
(long press)
A longer press (1s) allows to activate the Dual Watch function. This
function allows to survey between channel 9 or 19 and the selected
channel. A first long press activates the DW function between channel 9
and the busy channel. A new long press activates the function between
channel 19 and the busy channel. «DW» is displayed. The number of
the selected channel and channel 9 or 19 appear alternately on the
display. The «EMG» icon is also displayed at the same time as channel
9 or 19. The selected channel can be modified during the dual watch.
The function can also be disabled by pushing the PTT (11) switch, the
EMG (6) key or running the SCAN function.
