DC current measurement / AC Current measurement
Note: Always measure current on one conductor only.
Covering more than one conductor results in measuring differential current
(like identifying leakage current). To avoid measuring errors related to other
hot conductors, please observe maximum phase‐to‐phase clearance.
1.
Always adjust the rotary switch to the desired measuring range before
starting the measurement and engage the switch in the proper measuring
range. If the magnitude of the signal to be measured is not known, always
start with the highest measuring range on the rotary switch and then reduce
step‐by‐step.( 40 A / 400 A / 1000 A).
2.
Press the lever to open the induction jaw.
3.
Close the jaw and place the conductor centered between the induction
clamps.

4.
Once the reading stabilizes, read the value. If the polarity is twisted a "Minus
sign" is displayed. Use the HOLD function if the reading is difficult to read.
Resistance measurement / Continuity test
Use the provided test leads to perform these measurements.
Attention: Before making any measurements, make sure the circuit is
disconnected from any power source and all capacitors are properly
discharged!
