Carefully remove the packaging.

Place the base assembly on the ground with the rear wheels stopped. Remove the handle (B) and insert the
mast-arm assembly into the central frame. Finally, adjust the assembly using the handle (B), making sure that it
is firm and tight. Check that the legs open and close normally and that the wheels turn correctly. Check that the
hanger rotates and swings freely and is firmly attached to the arm.
The motor is supplied assembled from the factory. In its lower part it is adjusted with a screw and nut and in its
upper part with a pin (C) and a safety ring (D). Make sure motor pin (J) and hand control pin (K) are FITTED
FIRMLY into charging base.
4.- HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS ( see images on page 6 )
4.1.- Handling of the hoist
To open the legs you have to step on the left pedal. To close the legs you have to press the right pedal. To
transfer patients and/or pass between doors or through narrow corridors, it is recommended that the legs are
closed.
Use the control to raise or lower the crane arm. You can also use the buttons (G) on the charging base (control
box). During the lowering or lifting of the patient, it is recommended that the wheels are not braked. In this way,
the patient-crane unit will seek the center of gravity, avoiding discomfort to the patient.
When the arm reaches its lower or upper limit it stops automatically.
It is advisable to avoid repeatedly pressing the buttons (G), since the successive starts of the
motor consume more battery, reducing its useful life.
The equipment enters standby mode if no buttons are pressed. To reactivate it, press any button.
The electrical equipment has a red emergency stop button (F). With the button released the battery is ready to
work. With the button pressed the battery does not act. To release the button it must be turned clockwise and
released.
