2 - Device preparation
Before using this device, take care to select the suitable tooling and ensure
yourself that the thread size is able to resist to the applicable load. (Check by
consulting the maximum setting load applyable for each size).
2.1 - Installation of the tooling
• A wide choice of tooling is available. Consult the selection chart
here below.
• Each size will involve a dedicated tooling kit including a socket
and a specific washer
2.2 - Spacer use
The tooling kit have been designed for standard blind rivet socket length.
Anyway, it is possible to fit the device by adding spacer(s) between the socket and the device.
(3 spacers are included inside the load indicator box).
For defining the correct configuration, each socket has a 360° marked which is determining the
correct position of the thread mandrel.
