• Check and wear your personal protective equipment.
NOTICE
• Only qualified personnel are permitted to perform work on the device or system.
• Never pull the cable assembly across sharp edges and do not leave it on hot workpieces
or in areas where there could be splatter.
• As the ROBO Compact W500 / W600 is integrated into a welding system, the
documentation for all welding components must be observed during operation.
• Ensure that all required parameters have been set.
7.1 Welding process
1 Open the shielding gas cylinder, switch on the power source.
2 Set the welding parameters.
3 Start welding.

NOTICE
• Liquid-cooled cable assemblies leak if overheated. Therefore, allow the cooling unit to
continue to run approximately 5 minutes after welding.
• When decommissioning the system, ensure that the procedures for switching off the
welding components are observed.
1 End welding.
2 Wait until the shielding gas post-flow time has passed and then switch off the power source.
3 Close the shielding gas cylinder valve.
