PLEASE READ BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION
- Water supply must be turned off and the water contained in the pipes must also be expelled (fig. 1);
- Connecting supply tubes: hot water must be connected to the left-hand side of the fitting and cold water to the right-hand side (fig. 1);
- Before testing the fitting, it is essential that the aerator is removed from the fitting and water is allowed to exit the fitting so that any impurities
that could cause its blockage are expelled;
- We recommend that filters are installed between water supply piping and sanitary fittings;
- If there is a large difference in pressure between the hot and cold water systems, the harmonisation of these pressures is advisable;
INSTALLATION
Fig. 3
First mount on the body -6- the threaded pin -12- and the supply tubes -14- and tighten them with an adjustable wrench.
Fig. 4
Position the ring -9- in its housing on the body -6-. Insert the tap in the hole of the fixture.
Fig. 5
Place the ring flange -10-, place the flange -11- onto the theaded pin -12-, then tighten the tap with the say -12-.
Fig. 6
To mount the drain, insert the tapered seal -20- onto the drain -21- and insert the drain into fixture. Position the seal -19- into its housing
on the drain body -18- and screw the drain body until it is firmly in place.
Fig. 7
Insert the vertical control rod -17- into the designated hole on the tap. connect the rod to the horizontal rod -16- using the clamp -15- and
adjust the travel of the cap -22-.
REPLACING THE CARTRIDGE
Unscrew the
covers screw -3- and the
mount, reverse the procedures, taking care to clean the surfaces in contact with the cartridge -5-. Tighten the ring nut -4-.
CLEANING OR REPLACING THE AERATOR
To disassemble the aerator -8-, unscrew the ring nut and clean the filter from any impurities. Fit back the aerator by carrying out the pro-
cedures in reverse, taking care to position the seal correctly.
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
- Notable decrease in flow
- Water leak from under the handle or
under the hood
-Diverter malfunction of or leakage
-Water leak from "S" connections caps
GRECIA
fixing screw -2-. Remove the knob -1-. Unscrew the ring to cover -4-. Take out the cartridge -5-. To
POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Insufficient pressure
