For your saftey - this is what you need to know
• When grilling, keep a safe distance from potential danger areas and highly
flammable substances, generally at least 10 meters.
• Never place flammable items onto Skotti when it is grilling or still hot.
Possible danger to life due to grease fires.
▶ If a grease fire occurs, remain calm. If possible, turn off the gas supply (
▶ Use a special fire extinguisher, sand, baking soda or baking powder to extin-
guish a potential fire.
▶ Never try to extinguish grease fires with water or flour. The probability of
uncontrolled shooting flames or explosions is extremely high.
▶ Get yourself and others to safety.
▶ Call the fire service on the EU-wide number 112 from landlines and mobiles.
▶ Until the firefighters arrive, secure the danger area without putting yourself or
others in danger.
