POSSIBLE CAUSE
The fryer not connected to
power mains.
Frying time has not been set.
The basket is overfull.
Temperature set too low.
Some ingredients must be
shaken or mixed during
preparation.
The relevant type of food is
only intended for use in classic
fryers.
The basket is overfull.
Fatty ingredients are being
fried.
Rest of the fat from recent use
of the fryer still remaining on
the pan.
Inappropriate potato type used. Use fresh potatoes.
The chips have not been rinsed
appropriately.
Crispness of the chips depends
on the quantity of oil and the
water contained in the chips.
REMEDY
Connect the fryer to power mains.
Set the frying time.
Reduce the quantity of ingredients
in the basket, thus making the
frying equal.
Increase the temperature.
The ingredients in the fryer must be
shaken or mixed during frying.
Finalise the frying in the oven or
slightly oil the surface.
Do not place too much ingredients
into the basket. Observe the MAX
mark.
When frying fatty ingredients,
much oil in the fryer comes into the
pan. The oil generates white smoke
and the pan can heat up more than
usually.
White smoke has been caused by
heating up the fat in the basket.
Clean the basket thoroughly after
each use.
Rinse the chips thoroughly to
remove starch on the surface of the
chips.
Dry the chips before adding oil.
Cut the chips in smaller pieces to
have them more crispy.
Add oil to have the chips more
crispy.
