Function
The low-loss header allows to equalize the pressure and the flow rate in heating installations
with one (or more) pumps in the boiler circuit and one or more pumps in the consumer circuits,
without that the circuits hydraulically affect each other.
This is especially useful when the flow rates in the heating circuits are subject to large variations
or if only a part of the water from the heating circuits is to pass through the boiler.
In addition, the PAW low-loss headers have a separate flow and return line, as the chambers
are only connected by two short-circuit connections.
Application ranges:
for boilers with integrated pump
especially for heating installations with condensing boilers
(In this case, a low-loss header is often mandatory.)
NOTICE
Malfunction!
The pump in the boiler circuit must deliver a higher flow rate than the consumer pumps need
in total. Otherwise, unwanted circulation occurs on the right or left end of the low-loss header.

993x431-mub-ml – V03
The manifold has two separate
chambers for flow and return.
The extension set connects the
chambers without any resistance,
thus forming a short-circuit
connection. The distribution
manifold is converted into a
low-loss header.
