Variable-Speed Self-Propel System
This snow blower is equipped with variable-speed self-propel capability. Self-propel
capability is independent of auger rotation. For example, once you have finished clearing
the driveway, you can use the self-propel function to propel the snow blower to your
storage location without auger rotation.

Without starting the auger rotation, press the self-propel lever down to the
handle, and the snow blower begins moving (Fig.7).
To turn the self-propel function off, just release the self-propel handle.

To increase the moving speed, push the self-propel speed control lever forwards.
Select the speed suitable for your task.
To engage the reverse self-propel function: First release the self-propel handle to

stop the blower from moving, pull the self-propel speed-control lever toward the
back of the snow blower, then press and hold the self-propel handle. (Fig. 7)
NOTE: The speed is fixed when operating the snow blower in reverse with self-propel; the
self-propel speed-control lever cannot change the speed in reverse. The snow blower
cannot be switched to move backward while the self-propel function is moving it forward.

AUGER AND SELF-PROPEL CONTROL LINKAGE
If you press down the self-propel handle and the auger-switch handle at the same time,
the auger-switch handle will be temporarily locked. Release the auger switch handle and
the auger switch handle will remain engaged. This feature allows you to adjust the auger
speed, self-propelling speed, and discharging direction of the snow while the auger
rotates. (Fig.8)
To stop the auger
1. Release the self-propel handle and both the auger and the self-propel function will stop.

6.3 ADJUST DISCHARGE DIRECTION AND HEIGHT
Do not adjust the chute deflector while the auger switch handle is engaged. Make
this adjustment only when the motor is stopped.
To change the direction of the snow discharge:
NOTE: The direction of snow removal can be adjusted up to 200°by pressing the chute
rotation button. (Fig.9A)

To change the distance of the snow discharge:
NOTE: The throwing distance of the snow blower is adjusted by adjusting the chute deflector
up or down, the machine offers 5 different positions (-5º~55º). (Fig. 10A)

To increase or decrease the distance that the snow is thrown, pull the chute deflector
handle backward or forward to raise or lower the chute deflector (Fig.10B).
