4.6 Assemblethecanisterholder(5)andfixtothecanister
to ensure stability. This holder can also be used for
storage of the Turbojet.
4.7 Ensure that appliance has been properly sealed to
make it fully gas-tight. If you have to check the appli-
ance for gas leaks, always do this outdoors. Never use
anakedflametosearchforleaks.Onlyeverusehot
soap suds, which you should apply to the appliance's
connections. Leaks are indicated by air bubbles formed
around the area of the leak. If in doubt, or if gas
escapes, never try to ignite the appliance. Remove the
canister.

– safe and practical.
5.4 The Turbojet button is equipped with a blocking device
(7). The blocking device is pushed aside when the
button (6) is pressed (see Fig. 4). Press the trigger to
release the blocking device.
5.5 As an additional safety feature, the appliance also has
a non-return valve, which only opens if a burner has
been inserted. This prevents accidental release of gas.
5.6 Using the Turbojet upside down.
Whenusingtheapplianceupsidedown,liquefied
petroleum gas can pass by the controller and the

with a higher gas consumption are used; if the burner is
used upside down for lengthy periods. Therefore, we
recommend that you work with a gas container at
room temperature and hold the Turbojet upright as
frequently as possible.
5.7 After use, ensure that the valve (2) is fully closed
(control knob completely turned to the right) and
remove the Turbojet from the gas container (3).
6. Setting screw for piezoelectric
ignition (8)
The screw is located at the head (6). It coordinates the
release of gas with interacting piezoelectric ignition. It is
properly set in the factory according to the regulations and
usually does not require any readjustment. Nevertheless,
should it be necessary to adjust it, attach a burner to the
handle, turn on the control knob (2) and rotate the setting

without having to press in the button. Turn the screw to the
left(inananticlockwisedirection)untiltheflamegoesout.
Now turn the screw once more with a full rotation. The
ignition is now properly set. Use a 1.5mm Allen key to adjust
the setting screw.
