INTRODUCTION
Our range of compact MIG welding machines, series EASYCRAFT are of advanced technical specification which rend them of
a high reliability; with a minimum of maintenance, the machines will give you a long and trouble free service. This manual is
intended to give sufficient information to enable anyone with a little knowledge of welding to install and operate the machine
successfully.
1. INSTALLATION
1.1. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The welding machine is fitted with a suitable primary cable which we strongly recommend you to do not extend: if it is
necessary to extend it, use a cable having the same section of the primary cable.
Models EASYCRAFT 100, 130, 145, 150; WEMIG 150, 150D; NW 100/2, 101/2, 130, 150, 170 = sez. 3 x 1,5 mm
Before connecting the machine to the outlet, check that your supply voltage is like the machine's voltage and that the furneshed
power is sufficient to feed the full load machine. Make sure that the electric plant is provided with a sufficient earth connection.

For models EASYCRAFT 100, 130, 145, 150; WEMIG 150, 150D; NW 100/2, 101/2, 130, 150, 170 the supply voltage is of
230V.

Brown wire = to phase
Blue wire = to neutral
Green – Yellow wire = to earth
1.2. GAS CONNECTION
The gas bottle should be placed on the suitable platform provided at the rear of the welding machine and secured with the
retaining chain provided (Easycraft 100, 130, 145,150, Wemig 150, 150D, NW 100-2, 130, 150, 170), or in case of the
remaining models, it should be placed on the platform.
Verify that all connections are well closed.
1.3. EARTH CONNECTION
A suitable earth cable connected to a clamp is supplied with the welding machine. The earth clamp should be attached to the
workpiece itself. The must be very good connection wherever made, as a poor or dirty connection will produce difficult welding
conditions and could result in a bad weld. For No-Gas welding, the cable's terminal must be plugged into positive (+) outlets
; on the contrary, it must be plugged into negative (-) for gas welding.
1.4. WHEELS ASSEMBLY
For models EASYCRAFT 100, 130, 145, NW 100/2, 101/2, 130, 150, in case it would be provided with wheels Kit, follow the
following instructions:
1.
introduce the axe in the proper space on the bottom of the body;
2.
connect the wheels to the axe;
3.
block the wheels on the axe;
4.
fix the front support with the suitable parker screws;
5.
fix the handle scrweing it on the fix handle in connection with the hole.
Regarding models EASYCRAFT 150; WEMIG 150, 150D; NW 170 unscrew preset screws and fit the two casters on prepared
seats placed on the bottom..
As for rear wheels insert the rear axle in the preset housing in such way that it won't come out from both sides. Fix wheels on
the axle and lock them with the two split safety pins into axle's holes.
2. SETTING CONTROLS
2.1. INPUT
The models EASYCRAFT 100, 130, 145, 150; WEMIG 150, 150D, and NW 100/2, 101/2, 130, 150, 170 are fitted with a bright
ON-OFF mains switch.
2.2. WELDING CURRENT REGULATION
Models EASYCRAFT 100, 130, 145 ; NW 100/2, 130, 150, dispose of two switches which give 8 current settings, select on the
front panel of the machine..
Models EASYCRAFT 150, WEMIG 150, 150D, NW 170 dispose of a six settings rotary switch for selecting the most suitable
welding current.
2.3. WIRE SPEED CONTROL
Using the button placed on the frontal you can regulate the welding wire speed. The button should be used in conjunction with
the voltage switch to give a smooth and perfect arc.
3. OVERLOAD PROTECTION
The machine is fitted with a thermal overload protection which will automatically interrupt the welding current on reaching
excessive temperatures; in which instance a yellow pilot light will switch on.
Once the temperature has decreased to a level low enough to allow welding, the yellow light will switch itself off and the
