TV (from apps, TV receiver and connected HDMI devices) is now
output through the AX110. The internal TV speakers will normally
switch off. If the TV has eARC, theoretically* all audio formats can
be transmitted. If the TV only has ARC, audio formats up to a maxi-
mum of Dolby Digital Plus can be output. On some TVs with ARC
but without eARC, only stereo or Dolby Digital 5.1 is possible.
*Note: Many televisions block the transmission of DTS audio as a
bitstream. In this case, the sound should be decoded by the player
beforehand. PCM 5.1 or 7.1 is then passed through. Xbox, Playsta-
tion and most Blu-ray players can do this. This function is hidden in
the Bluray menu of the game consoles.
Safety instructions and recycling
• Please do not cover the housing or power supply unit and do
not install the unit to avoid overheating.
• Keep away from heat sources, fire, water and moisture.
• Do not place any heavy objects on the unit or the connecting
cables.
• Do not open or drill holes in the casing.
• Use only suitable USB ports for power supply
• Only clean the surface of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Please
do not use any strong detergent, petrol or similar.
• If the device is not used for a longer period of time or malfunc-
tions, please disconnect the USB cable.
Service
An inspection of the unit by qualified personnel is necessary in the
following cases.
