Disconnect the appliance from the
compressed air supply before
changing tools.

Fit the required chisel

Then slide the tension spring 6 over the

until it stops. When doing so, hold the tension
spring 6 by the front retaining clip

To change the chisel
tension spring 6 from the cylinder of the air
hammer by holding it by the rear clip
Chisel types
There are three different types of chisels
supplied for different purposes:
- Flat chisel
: Use this chisel, for example, to

remove protruding concrete or mortar residue.
- Cutting chisel
(sheet metal chisel): Use this

chisel, for example, to cut sheet metal.
- Pointed chisel
: Use this chisel, for example, to

break up, break through and break off masonry
and stone.
Operation

Align the appliance with the area to be
machined.
Press the trigger 3 to switch the appliance on.
♦
Release the trigger 3 to turn off the appliance.
♦
♦
When you have finished working, disconnect
the appliance from the compressed air source.

CAUTION!

Before maintenance, clean off any hazardous
substances that may (due to working process-
es) have accumulated on the appliance. Avoid
all skin contact with these substances. If the
skin comes into contact with hazardous dusts,
this can lead to severe dermatitis.

The dust and vapours produced by using the
appliance can be hazardous to health (e.g.
cause cancer, birth defects, asthma and/or
dermatitis); it is essential to carry out a risk as-
sessment in respect of these risks and to imple-
ment corresponding regulatory mechanisms.
NOTE
►
The following points must be observed to
ensure that the compressed air tool functions
correctly and has a long service life:
■
Before each use, check the tool and the insert
tool, including a check of the speed and vibra-
tion level.
■
After each use, check the speed and vibration
level of the tool. During maintenance work,
please ensure that appropriate protective cloth-
ing (ear muffs, dust mask, protective goggles
and protective gloves) is worn.
■
Sufficient and continuous oil lubrication is highly
important for optimum functioning.
■
Use only the genuine replacement parts recom-
mended by the manufacturer, otherwise you
could put users at danger. In doubt, contact the
Service Centre.
■
Use only accessories and supplies of the sizes
and types recommended by the manufacturer.
■
Only clean the appliance with a soft, dry cloth
or with compressed air.
■
Never use sharp or abrasive cleaning agents
under any circumstances.
