8. CONNECTIONS
PREAMPLIFIER
Don't try to connect or disconnect the preamplifier by screwing the
¡ATTENTION! :
connector. This can damage the SLM.

DISCONNECTIONS
To disconnect the preamplifier from the
Sound Level Meter, hold the SLM by the
LEMO-type connectors (3 and 9) with the
fingers and pull out the preamplifier (3) as it
can be seen on the picture. Don't pull out the
preamplifier holding it by (2).
To connect the preamplifier to the Sound
Level Meter insert, using the fingers, the
male
LEMO-type
preamplifier (3) inside the female LEMO-
type connector of the SLM (9) until they fit
perfectly (clic!). The red spot on the
preamplifier connector must match the red
spot on the SLM connector.
If you have purchased the CNR-010
extension cable, you can use the TR001
apadter
to
microphone to the TR-40 tripod. To do
that, follow the next steps:
1) Put the LEMO socket of the
extension cable through the
TR001 adapter.
2) Fix it with the help of the
screwdriver.
3) Screw the adaptor into the
tripod.
4) Plug the preamplifier.
