Step 5 – Once the blade is ad-
justed to zero gap or your liking,
gently tighten the two screws on
each side of the blade while hol-
ding the zero gap tool in place. If
the blade is not adjusted to satis-
faction after testing, repeat the
adjusting process.
DISPOSAL OF LITHIUM ION BAT-
TERY
This trimmer has a lithium ion bat-
tery. To protect the environment,
these batteries should be removed
and properly disposed of when
the unit is no longer operating. To
remove the battery block for dispo-
sal or recovery, follow these instruc-
tions:
1. Disconnect the trimmer from
household outlet.
2. Discharge the battery pack com-
pletely before removing.
3. Remove the 2 screws in the bot-
tom housing cap. Remove the cap
and slide the handle off the unit.
4. Remove the BaBylissPRO name
plate using a small flat screwdriver.
Proceed to remove the 2 screws
located under the name plate and
the 2 screws towards the base of
the housing.
5. Open the trimmer and remove the
battery using wire cutters.
6. To protect the environment, do
not dispose of your battery with
your ordinary household waste.
