Pre-Ride Safety Check
If you are unsure about how to conduct a comprehensive check on the
condition of your bicycle before each ride, in addition to performing
regular maintenance, you should also check the condition of the bicycle
before riding. You should seek help from an experienced bicycle repai rer.
Electrical System
The electrical system powers several components on your E-Bike,
controlling various operating conditions and user preferences. Most
importantly, you need to familiarize yourself with the electrical system
of your e-bike and check whether it is working properly before each ride.
Both the front and rear brake levers contain safety power cut-off switch-
es, which disable the hub motor assist when used and should be checked
for correct operation of both levers. Gradual throttle rotation should
result in smooth acceleration. If the throttle doesn't rotate, the pedal
assist device or lighting device intermittently malfunctions, or fails, stop
using your E-Bike immediately and contact the AIMA support team for
help.
Brakes
Make sure that the brakes and their system components are undamaged,
correctly fixed, and functioning properly. Neither the front nor the rear
brake levers should touch the handlebars. If you find any issues with the
brakes, take the bicycle to an experienced bicycle repairer for fixing.
