Riding at night should be done with extra caution. Cyclists can be hard to
spot in the dark by drivers and pedestrians, making night riding more
dangerous than riding during the day. Always remember, choosing
appropriate clothing and specific equipment to reduce the risk of injury
when riding under adverse conditions is important. Warning! Reflectors
cannot replace the required lights. Without the necessary lights and
reflective devices, it can be difficult for other cyclists and motorists to
see the rider. If riding at night, take all necessary precautions to make
yourself more visible through lights and reflectors. If the visibility of the
cyclist is too low, it may result in serious injury or death. Reflectors can
be used to reflect the light from cars and street lamps when the rider is
moving, helping you become clearer and more visible when riding.
