CLEANING
In order to do a good cleaning use neutral detergents
only and rinse with plenty of water.
Gaskets and all plastic parts can be cleaned with
some cotton soaked with alcohol.
Do not use sponges or abrasive materials that can
damage the surface.
During the cleaning avoid the use of detergents,
disinfectants or other liquids containing chlorides or
trichloro-ethylene because they attack the stainless
steel; in case of contact an immediate rinsing is
recommended with the replacement of the water in
the reservoir.
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Œ
Every 20 cycles or after two working weeks clean the
water drain filter.
ATTENTION: Before unscrewing the filter, be sure you
have removed any dirt in the chamber
This filter is placed inside the sterilization chamber,
under the bottom grate in the middle of the
resistance and can be simply removed screwing it
out. It can be cleaned with compressed air or with
running water. It is clean when , looking into the light,
you can see its wire gauze completely free.
ATTENTION You must effect this operation every
time that the manometer indicates a residual
pressure in the chamber at the end of the "steam
release" phase, when the drying does not produce a
good result or it happens that when you open the
door some water is coming out of the chamber.
•
Every 50 cycles, or after each working month,
change the reservoir water.
In order to execute this operation:
By opening the autoclave door the proper tube can
be connected with the clutch for unloading the water
tank.
Please remember that the other end of the tube shall
be first put into a vessel to collect unloaded water.
