MAINTENANCE
Care and maintenance
•
Inspect all screws, rivets, screws and other parts regularly to
ensure they are secure and safe and replace any parts that are in a poor
condition. It is very important to thoroughly clean and dry the pushchair
after use in winter, by the sea, in the woods, in the rain. Uncleared sea
salt can corrode metal parts. After use in these environments, wipe down
with clean water and dry thoroughly.
•
When used on the beach, wash away any sand from the wheels and axles
every day to prevent the axles from becoming worn and the wheels from
rusting and becoming seized. Wash the wheels and axles with clean wa-
ter, dry and re-lubricate.
•
Regularly check that the pushchair's locking device is working properly.
•
If you find any parts on the pushchair that are damaged, stop using the
pushchair and contact the dealer immediately.
•
Do not expose the pushchair to strong sunlight for extended periods of
time. Even exposure to ultraviolet light during normal use may cause the
fabric to fade.
•
Be careful not to tear the fabric when loading or transporting the push-
chair in a vehicle.
•
Low viscosity oils or lubricants may be used on the pushchair's mechani-
cal components.
•
Petroleum jelly is a good lubricant for use on the front axle.
•
Wash the fabrics in lukewarm or cool water using a mild detergent.
•
DO NOT WASH THE FABRICS IN THE WASHING MACHINE to avoid
tearing and splitting the seams.
