5.2 Hold function
This baby scale has an automatic "Hold" function that can be enabled.
Automatic "hold" function
The automatic "Hold" function turns on when the baby is placed on the scale and
it is still for a moment. Wait till the "Hold" symbol ( ) is shown continuously in
the display. The measured weight is displayed till the "Hold" function is stopped.
"Hold" function that can be enabled
If the baby is placed on the scale and it is not still enough, then the automatic
"Hold" function is not enabled but you can enable the "Hold" function manually
by pressing the "Hold" button ( ) briefly. As soon as the "Hold" symbol is shown
continuously in the display, the measured weight is displayed until the "Hold"
function is stopped.
Press the "Hold" button or the "Tare" button to disable the "Hold" function.
5.3 Tare function
The "Tare" function resets the current reading to 0. If you want to weigh your
baby, for example, using a bassinet, you can first put the bassinet on the scale and
then press the "Tare" button. The scale automatically deducts the weight of the
bassinet.
