Connecting to a heating appliance
with a JV-PC interface
Note
To connect a heating appliances use
the black lead with the RJ 12 plug
(6-pin).
Use the short lead for installation in
the boiler and the long lead for instal-
lation in an external housing.
• Plug the connector on one end of the lead
to the X80 edge connector of the vrnetDIA-
LOG circuit board and the RJ 12 plug into
the X6 socket on the heating appliance.
• Install the circuit board in the switch box of
the appliance electronics or use the housing
provided.

Telephone connection
5.4.1 Connecting the vrnetDIALOG 820
(analogue)
The vrnetDIALOG 820 is supplied with a 2 m
lead and RJ 12 plug and adapter for connec-
tion to standard local telephone sockets.
The lead cannot be lengthened using standard
extension cables.
