INSTALLATION OF ACCESSORIES
Installation of the cover spacer (models with cover)
For the correct operation of your range, you MUST install the spacers with the screws on the
back of the range, as indicated in the figures. The spacer is placed on both sides of your range,
as illustrated in the following figure
Operation Verification
Once the range was installed, it is necessary to verify that the gas and electric connections have
been made successfully. For this activity, place the range in its final position and proceed to
ignite the upper burners and the oven.
Cooktop burners
According to the model, your range may have electronic ignition of one or two steps. Follow this
sequence to corroborate the operation:
Your range is one-step ignition (ignition on the knob)
Turn any of the six upper burner knobs to the Hi (maximum flame) position, as shown in the
right figure. The spark sound of the spark plug will be heard, and the flame will ignite. As soon
as the flame ignites, turn the knob to the desired flame.
This same sequence can be performed for the other upper burners.
1. When the verification is complete, turn off all the burners.
If in any case the flame does not ignite after 5 seconds or the spark
is not heard, perform the following steps:
a. Return the knob to the off position (and release the
switch if your stove is button ignition).
b. Make sure you have connected the power cord, without
it, the switch and the spark plugs cannot work.
c. Verify that there is gas supply, either in the tank or in the line. Also check that
connections and gas supply pipes are not bent or blocked.
d. Repeat from step 1 or 2 (as the case may be). Even with a power outage, the top
burners can work. When this happens, do the following:
1. Bring a lit match to the burner you want to light.
2. Turn the burner knob to the Hi (maximum flame) position, the flame should come on.
OVEN BURNER
Models with thermostat with electronic ignition
1. Open the oven door and remove the oven floor from
the oven, take the tray from the back on both sides
as shown in the figure, pull up and remove it from the
stove.
2. Turn the oven control knob to the on position. In this
position you will hear and see the spark of the oven
burner, keep the knob pressed to the stop position for 5
seconds until the burner has ignited and released. Then
turn it to the initial position (150° C). The flame should
ignite and cover all holes in the burner.
3. The normal flame of the furnace burner should be bluish and stable; if not, proceed to the
