To Power Up the Snow Blower (Fig. 7)
1. Ensure that the handle assembly is
securely adjusted to appropriate height,
the side-discharge chute assembly is
mounted properly.
2. Attach the battery pack(s) to the
snow blower and close the battery
cover. Refer to chapter "ATTACHING/
DETACHING BATTERY PACK".
3. Press the safety button and the power
indicator will light solid green, which
means the snow blower is ready for the
electronic functions that include auger rotation, self-propel, handle-heating, and
headlights. See detail instructions as below.
NOTE:
The snow blower is started by FIRST depressing the safety button, followed by
activation of one of the electronic functions. The reverse order will fail to activate any of
these functions.
NOTE:
The snow blower may not properly start if its battery temperature is -4°F
(-20°C) or less. If unit doesn't start, remove the battery from the snow blower and allow
it to warm indoors for 10 minutes or longer. Reinstall the battery and try again.
To Power Down the Snow Blower
The snow blower could not be powered down when the auger or the self-propel
function is turned on. In the case that the auger and the self-propel functions are
turned off, there are two ways to power down the snow blower:

Manually depress the safety button until the power indicator turns off, which means
the snow blower has been powered down.

Alternatively, the snow blower will power down automatically in the following
situations:
a. When there are no active electronic function, the snow blower will power down
automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity.
b. When the headlights are turned on with no other active electronic function, the
