PaX-i3D (PHT-6500) User Manual
The operator shall observe the X-Ray safety regulations
applicable to their area at all times during the operation of
WARNING
this equipment.
1. Leave the X-Ray room and close the door. The operator must visually
monitor the patient at all times during image acquisition.
2. Press and hold down the exposure switch until image acquisition is
complete.
The image appears in real time on the imaging GUI.
If an emergency occurs during image acquisition, release
the exposure switch to cease X-Ray emission.
CAUTION
3. The captured image is automatically reconstructed and converted into a
DICOM file. Click the Save button to store the file in the patient database (if
automatic save is selected in the program settings, the image will be saved
automatically).
5 Acquiring CT Images
During X-Ray irradiation, ensure that
- The LED lamp on top of the equipment
t u r n s o r a n g e t o i n d i c a t e X - R a y
emission.
- The warning lamp outside the X-Ray
room turns on.
- The announcement mode of either
beep or music is initiated, depending
on the set-up.
- The radiation symbol on the upper left
corner of GUI turns yellow to indicate
X-Rays are being emitted.
